When texting or calling a lead from the LeadOwl app, your native texting app on your mobile device is used. LeadOwl first pre-populates it with the destination phone number or quick reply. The text or call itself is from your phone provider/carrier, not from LeadOwl which is merely acting as a starting point for sending your text messages or calls.
We are in the process of implementing a solution for our users to have the functionality to dial out of the LeadOwl app using a phone number the client has selected. This will also allow the client to call leads via an office/desk line or new phone line provided by LeadOwl. We're also researching voice recording and other options related to mobile communications and how to get these integrated with LeadOwl. Stay tuned!
